Celebrating Bike Day in beautiful Coral Gables
Today's the Coral Gables Bike Day! If you're in Miami, this is a great way to start off the month of March with your entire family. It's happening from 11am to 3 pm, right in front of Coral Gables City Hall.
Bike Walk Coral Gables invites all cyclists, skaters, parents and children to this free community event sponsored by Baptist Health South Florida, exclusive wellness sponsor, along with the City of Coral Gables, Miami-Dade County, No Boundaries, Tarpon Bend, Bike305, Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables, Coral Gables Museum, and Shake 108, a local non-profit radio that will be animating the crowd in attendance.
This day is all about promoting health, physical activity and bike safety and includes guided bike tours throughout Coral Gables, healthy food and drink vendors, Bike Rodeo (teaching kids safety), live music, art bike exhibit, scavenger hunt, giveaways, kids entertainment and much more. There will be a warm-up exercise by Iron Tribe Fitness, a one hour Zumba class courtesy of the Coral Gables Youth Center, a pilates class by Envy Pilates, and a fitness work out by Orange Theory Fitness. Bike Tech will be selling t-shirts, bicycles and Bike Tech KITS.
